On April 14th, Atomy leaders met at the YWCA Fort Canning Lodge for a momentous occasion. The day featured updates from the Atomy Singapore office and a discussion of leadership by Atomy Taiwan Star Master Zhang Long Huan , in addition to the much-awaited sharing session by the Director of Atomy China regarding their planned opening in 2019. Speaking to the excitement over this announcement, Sharon Rose Master Jin Shanzi noted that “every leader has been waiting and wanting for Atomy China to open”.

Atomy China initiated the opening process last year, opening three manufacturing plants specializing in kitchenware, toothbrushes and
supplements. Atomy China’s HQ will be located within an industrial park built through the collaboration of the Korean and Chinese governments.
Atomy hopes to collaborate with enterprises such as KOLMAR though this park, which will also be equipped with a showroom and exhibition room.

Atomy China has registered roughly fifteen types of skincare products, though it may take around a year and a half for the supplements to be
officially registered. Until then, Atomy China will not be selling most supplements (such as HemoHIM) but will begin by selling vitamins B, C and E.
Atomy China still hopes that, within three to five years, HemoHIM and Absolute CellActive will be top-selling products within thirty active areas in
China. Atomy China aims to be the number one company in China’s direct selling industry in China, hoping to achieve thirty-five billion dollars
within ten years.

The next step in the registration process is attaining a direct selling license. While Atomy China estimates that the process might be completed by
June 2019, they stressed that this date is only an estimate. Atomy China asks that Atomy members in the region exercise patience in withholding
from business in China until official approval. Atomy China stressed the importance of abstaining from any pre-license activities, including public
gatherings or pre-opening education centers. In the meantime, while working towards its opening process, Atomy China has asked online vendors such as Taobao to cease all online sales of Atomy products. This is an activity that has greatly affected Atomy members all over the Asian region.

It was also noted that only Atomy China members will be able to enter Atomy China accounts and access their website, though there will be no
joining or registration fee for pre-existing Atomy members who wish to register with Atomy China: only the standard document fee, required by
Chinese law. They further clarified that Chinese law does not currently allow the following professions to be business builders within Atomy China: students, members of the military, teachers, medical personnel, civil servants and members of other direct selling companies.

Explaining the details of membership in Atomy China

Atomy China has also advised its local consumers not to resort to importing products (e.g. from Korea) since these run the risk of being considered illegal imports, but instead to wait as Atomy China’s product range continues to grow and support the demands of the Atomy China members.

Leaders discussing the future of Atomy Singapore

After Atomy China’s sharing session, Taiwanese and Singaporean leaders discussed matters of Atomy leadership and their aspirations for Atomy
within the next five years respectively. Overall, the leaders left the session feeling enriched by valuable knowledge for them to share with their
respective members, in addition to a sneak peak of Atomy’s future in the year 2019 and beyond.
