Songnisan Youth Town, which was the birthplace of success for Atomians, has been reborn and is coming back into the arms of Atomians at Atomy Songnisan Forest. It is set to open soon after a two-and-a-half-year renovation since its purchase in April of 2022. Managing director of Songnisan Forest Ji-eun Oh stated, "The hotel building will open first on December 25, followed by the training and glamping sites in the first quarter of the next year. According to Director Oh, Songnisan Forest will become a mecca of the Atomy business where Atomy members around the world can come to relax like home as well as learn about new products and practice business skills to get one step closer to success.

애터미언즈들의 성공의 요람이었던 속리산 유스타운이 ‘애터미 속리산 포레스트’로 환골탈태(換骨奪胎)해 애터미언즈의 품으로 돌아온다. 지난 2022년 4월 매입한 뒤 2년 반에 걸친 새 단장을 마무리 짓고 오픈을 앞두고 있다. 오지은 애터미 속리산 포레스트 총괄 담당 이사는 “오는 12월 25일 호텔동이 먼저 오픈되고, 내년 1분기에 연수동과 글램핑장까지 모두 오픈될 것”이라고 밝혔다. 오지은 이사에 따르면 속리산 포레스트는 전 세계 애터미 회원들이 고향처럼 쉴 수 있고, 새로운 제품과 비즈니스 스킬을 배우고 익힘으로써 성공에 한 발 더 다가설 수 있는 계기가 되는 애터미 비즈니스의 메카가 될 계획이다.

Songnisan Youth Town—anyone who has been in the Atomy business for some time has heard of it before. It is the place where Atomy's first Success Academy was held. It is where Atomy's early members including Imperial Masters Jeong Soo Park, Sung-il Kim, and Deok Wu Lee held onto a glimmer of hope during tough times. It was a small place where they gathered, giving rise to hope as they sat together in close quarters and created the story of Super-Synergy of United Heart. Crown Master Kyu Jung Choi, one of the 17 members of the duck restaurant that was going out of business, said even just renting Youth Town for the Success Academy showed our "we can do it" mindset, adding, "It was just 15 years ago, and I am so moved that it is now ours." Imperial Master Jeong Soo Park recalled that she was "proud of the story of rapid growth while hosting Success Academy at Youth Town back then," saying, "Atomy will witness another quantum jump at Songnisan Forest."
Atomy plans to make the Songnisan Forest a place where Atomians who are running toward success can stop by for a while to relieve built up fatigue, renew their vision and determination, and set off again toward their goals. Director Ji-eun Oh stated, “We will provide Atomians with rest and healing and an immersion experience in the Atomy brand. It will be a space that fills you with new vitality and energy while connecting you with products through nature.”

속리산 유스타운, 애터미 사업을 좀 한 사람이라면 당연히 들어봤을 이름이다. 애터미 최초의 석세스아카데미가 개최됐던 장소다. 박정수 임페리얼, 김성일 임페리얼, 이덕우 임페리얼을 비롯한 애터미 초창기 회원들이 힘들었던 시절 부여잡았던 한 자락의 희망을 키웠던 곳이다. 좁았지만 그래서 서로 부대끼며 희망의 온도를 높였고, 발 디딜 틈조차 없는 곳에서 모여 앉아 제심합력의 신화를 만들어 낸 장소였다. 망해가는 오리탕집 17인의 멤버 가운데 한 사람이었던 최규정 크라운마스터는 “당시 유스타운을 빌려 석세스아카데미를 한다는 것만으로도 ‘우리는 할 수 있다’라는 마음이 들었다.”라며 “불과 15년 전인데 이제는 우리 소유가 됐다니 가슴이 뭉클하다.”라고 말했다. 또 박정수 임페리얼마스터는 “그 시절, 속리산 유스타운에서 석세스아카데미를 진행하며 고속 성장의 신화에 스스로 대견해했었다.”라며 “속리산 포레스트에서 애터미는 또다시 퀀텀점프를 목격하게 될 것”이라고 말했다.
애터미는 속리산 포레스트를 성공을 향해 질주하는 애터미언즈들이 잠시 들러서 쌓인 피로를 풀고, 새로운 비전과 각오를 다지며 또다시 목표를 향해 출발하는 장소로 만들 생각이다. 오지은 속리산 포레스트 총괄 이사는 “애터미언즈들에게 쉼과 힐링을 제공하고 애터미 브랜드에 몰입되는 경험을 제공할 것”이라며 “자연을 매개로 제품과 연결되면서 새로운 활력과 에너지를 채워 가는 공간이 될 것”이라고 말했다.

Songnisan Forest is divided and set to operate three main areas. The first is the hotel, a place full of healing where you can relax and relieve built up stress. Here, Atomians will go beyond simply resting to filling themselves with the healing energy that is integrated into the space itself. In the process, they can experience a new Atomy, aligning and developing a deeper relationship with Atomy.
"Instead of running nonstop for 24 hours a day, it's time to think about how best to relax for a day to live a good life," a representative from Songnisan Forest said, "Just as you need to empty yourself in order to be filled, it's a place where you can step back from your daily life and let your mind and body be healed."
The second area is the training facility. If the hotel is a place to empty yourself, then the training facility is the place to become filled. After freeing yourself from business-related emotional exhaustion at the hotel, you can gradually organize within yourself the vision of a new Atomy and the relationship between products and partners at the training center. Beyond the basics of Absolute Quality Absolute Price, it offers a space to naturally learn and experience the products and business skills connected to your own human network.
The last area is the camping site, a place to truly enjoy after emptying and filling. You can escape from the hustle and bustle of daily life and experience a small but certain happiness while camping in nature. What's the big deal if you sometimes bicker with your partners? Just like the saying "mountains will not leave the world," business will not leave Atomians even though you step away from it for a little while. It's true. You can enjoy a bit of happiness while camping here at Songnisan and replenish the power to sustain your Atomy business.

속리산 포레스트는 크게 3개 구역으로 나뉘어 운영될 방침이다. 첫 번째 구역은 호텔동으로, 쌓인 스트레스를 비우고 쉴 수 있는 힐링으로 가득한 장소다. 이곳에서 애터미언즈들은 단순한 쉼을 넘어, 공간 자체에 내재된 힐링 에너지로 자신을 채워 가게 된다. 그 과정에서 새로운 애터미를 경험하고, 그에 공감하며 한층 더 내밀한 관계로 발전하는 것이다.
속리산 포레스트 관계자는 “하루 24시간 매 순간 달리기보다는 하루를 어떻게 쉬어야 좋은 삶인지 고민해야 하는 시대”라며 “비워야 채울 수 있듯 일상에서 잠시 물러나 몸과 마음이 치유되는 장소”라고 말했다.
두 번째 구역은 연수동이다. 호텔동이 비우는 곳이라면, 이곳 연수동은 채우는 곳이다. 호텔동에서 비즈니스에 지친 감정의 잔재까지 말끔히 비운 뒤, 연수동에서 새로운 애터미의 비전과 제품과 파트너와의 관계를 차곡차곡 개어 내 안에 정리해 넣게 된다. 기존의 절대품질 절대가격을 넘어, 나 자신의 휴먼 네트워크에 연결되는 제품들과 자연스레 스며드는 비즈니스 스킬들을 체험하고 익히는 공간이다.
마지막으로 캠핑동이다. 비우고 채운 뒤의 즐거움을 만끽하는 곳이다. 바쁜 일상에서 벗어나 자연과 함께 캠핑을 하며 소확행을 실천하면 된다. 때로는 함께하는 파트너들과 떠들썩한 소란을 피운들 무슨 문제가 될까. 산비속리(山非俗離, 산은 세속을 떠나지 않는다)라 하였으니 말이다. 잠시 비즈니스에서 벗어나 있지만, 비즈니스는 애터미언즈들을 떠나지 않는다. 그렇다. 이곳 속리산에서 소확행의 캠핑을 즐기며 애터미 비즈니스를 지속할 동력을 채우는 것이다.

The hotel offers six different room sizes from deluxe to the presidential suite, and it can accommodate about 130 guests. A 3500-square-foot cafeteria is located at the entrance of the first floor, and there are various outdoor spaces that embody relaxation including an outdoor deck and fireplace lounge. Surrounded by a forest at the foot of Mt. Songnisan, you can feel the coziness and breathe in the refreshing phytoncides, making it perfect for a leisurely time off from business. You may also enjoy taking a stroll along the paved path that runs through the forest behind the training center leading up to the entrance of the hotel.
The training facility houses multiple hexa rooms—a capsule type, a heated floor "ondol" type, and a balcony type—that sleep 6 with a total capacity of 580 guests. As expected of a training center, it was designed with the concept of experiencing Atomy products. In addition, when members from global branches visit, a welcome video tailored to the characteristics of that branch will play on an impressive screen along with the various facilities and landscapes of Songnisan Forest.

호텔동은 프레지덴셜 스위트룸부터 일반 디럭스룸까지 6가지 크기의 객실이 있으며 총 130여 명이 머물 수 있다. 1층 입구에는 100여 평의 카페테리아가 있고, 야외 데크, 후면 불멍 라운지 등의 야외 공간이 쉼을 실체화하고 있다. 속리산 자락의 숲에 둘러싸여 아늑함과 함께 피톤치드의 상쾌함을 느껴볼 수 있어 망중한(忙中閑)을 즐기기에 제격이다. 또한 연수동 뒤편 숲을 지나 포레스트 입구까지 이어지는 데크 길을 산책하는 재미도 만만찮을 것이다.
연수동은 모두 6인실로 구성돼 580여 명이 머물 수 있으며 캡슐형과 온돌형, 발코니형으로 나뉘어져 있다. 연수동답게 전체적으로 애터미 제품을 만나보는 콘셉트로 디자인됐다. 이와 함께 해외 법인 회원들이 방문할 때는 해당 법인의 특색에 맞는 환영 동영상과 속리산 포레스트의 다양한 시설과 풍경들을 인상적인 화면으로 재구성한 영상이 흐르도록 할 예정이다.

When you go up to the 2nd floor, the "Product Wall" first welcomes visitors. An LED display composed of the Art Wall presents a modular product showcase, enlightening the viewers. A Songnisan Forest representative explained, “The value of the products is exhibited in the form of art frames decorated with various art videos, and the raw materials and natural elements of the products are presented in fantastic hyperrealism, which will stimulate the interests and curiosity of visitors.”
As you pass the Product Wall, an Atomy product vending machine awaits. A representative explained, "The Product Wall and Atomy mini shop will be connected, providing Atomians with an integrated experience where the space, brand, and products converge. Virtual models on large displays will draw in visitors, and the attractive digitally showcased products will spark a desire to purchase.”

2층으로 올라가면 먼저 ‘프로덕트 월(Product Wall)’이 방문객들을 환영한다. 아트월(Art Wall)로 구성된 LED 디스플레이가 모듈 형태의 제품 쇼케이스를 연출하며 보는 이의 눈을 즐겁게 하는 것이다. 속리산 포레스트 관계자는 “제품에 담긴 가치를 다양한 아트 영상들로 꾸며진 아트 프레임으로 구성했다”며 “제품의 원료와 자연의 소재들을 환상적인 하이퍼리얼리즘으로 연출, 방문객의 흥미와 관심을 촉발시킬 것”이라고 말했다.
프로덕트 월을 지나면 바로 애터미 제품의 벤딩 머신(Vending Machine, 자동판매기)이 기다리고 있다. 속리산 포레스트 측은 “프로덕트 월과 애터미 미니 샵이 연결되어, 애터미언즈들에게 공간과 브랜드와 제품이 하나로 융합되는 통합적인 경험을 선사할 것”이라며 “대형 디스플레이에서 가상의 모델이 방문객을 유도하고, 디지털로 만들어진 매력적인 제품들의 모습이 구매욕을 자극할 것”이라고 설명했다.

The official opening ceremony of Songnisan Forest is scheduled for April 2025. The hotel building will open first on December 25, 2024, followed by the training facility in January 2025 and the camping site in March. Reservations for the hotel have already been made by members of Atomy Taiwan from December 26 to 31. Songnisan Forest's management team expects an average of 300 guests per day and 110,000 guests per year to visit Songnisan Forest during the year 2025. The 1-Night, 2-Day Success Academy is likely to be Songnisan Forest's main program. According to management, the 1-Night, 2-Day Success Academy will operate separately from the existing Success Academy by different centers or groups at all times. As long as you make a reservation in advance, you will be able to host a 2-Day Success Academy on weekdays or weekends. Besides the Success Academy, Atomy is also planning educational and operational programs tailored to the needs of Atomians.
It is also preparing a healing program. According to management, outdoor programs such as hiking, trekking, and biking are in the works. "Songnisan Forest will provide a memorable experience beyond just a place to relax," said Ji-eun Oh, managing director of Songnisan Forest. "We will do our best to help all Atomians experience the value of the Atomy business here."

속리산 포레스트의 공식 오픈식은 2025년 4월로 예정되어 있다. 2024년 12월 25일에 호텔동을 먼저 오픈하고, 이후 2025년 1월에 연수동을, 3월에는 캠핑동을 오픈하게 된다. 호텔동은 이미 12월 26일부터 31일까지 대만 법인의 회원들이 예약을 마쳤다. 속리산 포레스트 운영진은 2025년 한 해 동안 일 평균 300여 명, 연간 11만여 명이 속리산 포레스트를 찾을 것으로 기대하고 있다.
속리산 포레스트의 대표적인 프로그램은 1박2일 석세스아카데미가 될 것으로 보인다. 운영진에 따르면 속리산 포레스트의 1박2일 석세스아카데미는 기존의 석세스아카데미와는 별개로 센터별, 또는 그룹별로 상시 운영할 방침이다. 즉 미리 예약을 하면 평일이나 주말을 가리지 않고 속리산 포레스트에서 1박2일 석세스아카데미를 진행할 수 있게 된다. 석세스아카데미 외에도 애터미는 애터미언즈들의 니즈에 맞춘 교육 및 운영 프로그램을 구상하고 있다.

"Not simply a place to rest, but a place where I can completely relieve all the stress that I have inevitably built up while doing the business and be able to return to the business with a fresh start.” This is the Songnisan Forest that Royal Master Sang Cheol Jeon hopes for.
Sang Cheol Jeon, the Royal Master who is known for being "Member No. 9" with the nickname Mr. Perseverance, vividly remembers the first Songnisan Youth Town Success Academy. At that time, Songnisan Youth Town was a kind of salvation for Atomians. That is because, after the days when the goal was to fill the hall with 40 to 50 people, Songnisan Youth Town eventually hosted almost 1,000 attendees for Success Academy. “There used to be mold all over the place, and the air conditioning and broadcasting facilities were extremely poor. But it still felt cozy. Back then, there was no good place for hundreds of people to gather together for Success Academy.”
“The most physically challenging part was the small space. At first, it was sufficient, but as time went on, it became way too crowded.” Over the years, Success Academy was subsequently held at hotels and resorts, but the fact that Songnisan Youth Town was the birthplace of Atomians and the root of Success Academy remained unchanged.
And Atomy ended up purchasing this Songnisan Youth Town. Royal Master Jeon said that it felt like buying the place that Atomians used to rent. At Songnisan Forest, Atomians can comfort each other with the same heart. Songnisan Forest will become a place that relieves stress and provides the strength to run again. “Atomy had nothing, but Atomy Park has been built, Atomy Orot (Vision Hall) has been created, and now even Youth Town is ours, so it feels like everything is complete. I hope more Atomians can come see, feel, and experience it.”

“단순히 쉼이 아니라 내가 비즈니스를 하면서 피치 못하게 받아왔던 여러 가지 스트레스를 완전히 풀어놓고, 다시 깔끔하게 비즈니스 현장으로 돌아올 수 있는 장소” 전상철 로열마스터가 바라는 속리산 포레스트다.
‘회원 번호 No.9’, 존버의 대명사로 유명한 전상철 로열마스터는 1회 속리산 유스타운 석세스 아카데미를 생생히 기억한다. 그 당시 속리산 유스타운은 애터미언즈들에게 일종의 구원이었다. 40~50명의 홀을 꽉 채우는 것이 목표였던 시절을 거쳐 속리산 유스타운에서 1,000명 가까운 사람들이 석세스아카데미에 참석할 수 있게 됐기 때문이다. “처음엔 여기저기 곰팡이도 슬어있었고, 에어컨도, 방송시설도 열악하기 그지없었죠. 하지만 그것마저도 정겨웠어요. 당시엔 수백 명이 모여서 석세스아카데미를 할 장소가 마땅찮았거든요.”
“물리적으로 가장 힘들었던 것은 공간이 협소하다는 것이었어요. 처음에는 여유로웠지만 시간이 갈수록 미어터졌거든요.” 시간이 흐르면서 호텔에서도, 리조트에서도 석세스아카데미를 진행했지만, 속리산 유스타운은 애터미언즈의 요람이자 석세스아카데미의 뿌리라는 점은 변하지 않았다.
그런 속리산 유스타운을 애터미가 매입했다. 전상철 로열마스터는 애터미언즈가 월세 살던 곳을 구매한 것 같은 기분이라고 말했다. 속리산 포레스트에서 애터미언즈들은 같은 마음으로 바라보고 서로 위로해 준다. 스트레스를 해소하고 다시 뛸 힘을 채우는 속리산 포레스트가 되는 것이다. “아무것도 없다가 애터미파크가 생기고, 또 애터미오롯(비전홀)이 생기고, 이제 유스타운도 우리 것이 됐다니 다 갖춰진 느낌이죠. 더 많은 애터미언즈들이 와서 보고 느끼고 경험할 수 있었으면 좋겠어요.”

How will Songnisan Youth Town from 2010 be different from Songnisan Forest in 2024? We asked Sang Sook Lee, Global Marketing Operations Team Leader, who has been with Atomy for 14 years. “No matter how you look at it, it’s a place of love and hate."
When she first went to the Success Academy at Songnisan Youth Town, nothing was ready. She was part of the video team then, but there were no experts around to ask for help. Team Leader Sang Sook Lee said, "It was hard. But I saw how the members succeeded there. That’s how I overcame the hardships.” When you see that your efforts have helped someone and that they have changed because of it, you feel proud and satisfied. Then, that work becomes your calling. That love-hate place called Songnisan Youth Town where she went to make a living now belongs to Atomy. The site where hearts were filled with hope in a crowded lecture hall has now become a refueling station on the way to success, emptying and filling. Team Leader Lee expressed, "Songnisan Forest will become a symbol of Atomians running toward their dreams, and I hope it will establish itself as an Atomy attraction where members and employees can communicate with each other openly."

2010년의 속리산 유스타운과 2024년의 속리산 포레스트는 어떻게 다를까. 애터미 입사 14년 차인 이상숙 글로벌 마케팅오퍼레이션 팀장에게 물어봤다. “미우나 고우나 애증의 장소죠.”
처음 속리산 유스타운의 석세스아카데미에 갔을 때, 아무것도 준비된 것은 없었다. 당시 영상팀의 일원이었지만, 도움을 청할 만한 전문가는 없었다. 이상숙 팀장은 “힘들었죠. 하지만 거기에서 회원님들이 어떻게 성공해 나가는지 다 봤거든요. 그것을 통해 힘든 걸 버텼어요.” 자신의 노력이 누군가에게 도움이 됐다는 것을, 그리고 그것을 계기로 변해가는 모습을 보고 나면 스스로 대견스럽기도 하고 뿌듯해지게 된다. 그러면 이제 그 일은 천직이 된다. 천직 삼아 다니다 보니 그 애증의 장소인 ‘속리산 유스타운’이 애터미의 소유가 됐다. 미어터지는 강의장에서 가슴 가득 희망을 키웠던 곳이 이제는 비우고 채우며 성공을 향하는 중간 급유소가 된 것이다. 이상숙 팀장은 “속리산 포레스트는 꿈을 향해 달려가는 애터미언즈의 상징이 될 것”이라며 “회원들과 임직원들이 흉금을 터놓고 소통하는 애터미의 명소로 자리 잡기 바란다.”라고 말했다.
