The Super-Synergy of a United Heart
Atomy possesses a unique DNA or a unique culture referred to as the “super-synergy of a united heart.” It means that many people gather strength with a united mind or work together with one heart. Most successful Atomy employees are ordinary people who do not have any extraordinary talent. But such ordinary people gathered within Atomy and led it to the top of the industry. 

Behind Atomy’s success lies this deeply rooted culture of working together. Atomians believe in the power of support and help each other amplify the synergy through collective knowledge. The know-hows of success as well as the painful experiences of trial and error become new possibilities through this synergy.


Becoming a “We” through the Super-Synergy
In order to be in one voice, the most important thing is for all members to participate in the culture of the super synergy. Through systems such as Atomy seminars, members understand the company’s philosophy and by sharing the direction and the concerns, Atomy members can unite to be in one voice. Seminars are hosted by Atomy and held throughout the world with the same content. Atomy’s top leaders generously pass on their know-hows to other members in unrelated lines. Knowledge is freely shared so that all can succeed together. This is very different from typical direct selling companies where leaders conduct the seminars themselves in separate groups. Through a collaborative system that unites all members, many, from people in their 20s to those in 80s, are reaching their success despite their diversity.

The only way a small, honey bee can fight against a deadly hornet with toxin 500 times stronger, is to fight together. When a hornet invades, bees come together to raise their collective temperature to 47°C. Because 46°C is a lethal temperature for hornets, it would not be able to withstand the heat and die but bees can withstand up to 48°C. The super-synergy of Atomy is just like the bees overcoming the deadly hornet. No matter how small the force, when individuals combine their strengths, they become indomitable. Joining forces with a common voice creates tremendous power.


Success in the US market made possible through unity
When Atomy first entered the US, there was a big concern. Several leaders were motivated to take over the US market but conducting seminars for two weeks every month across the States and continuing it for over a year was no easy task. Those who made the attempt faced their limits and began to feel the strain. The US was too large for only a few leaders to manage and therefore the situations were deemed difficult. The US market was a representation of global business and was a great opportunity for Atomy to test its success in the global market.

In the face of this crisis, Chairman Park spoke of the need for super-synergy. He suggested that not only those who had their lines in the US, but all leaders should work together to develop the market. Chairman Park suggested that leaders take turns traveling to the US to hold the seminars every month, but the leaders still hesitated. Some argued that traveling to speak in the US where they did not have any partners made no sense. Chairman Park was persistent and took the time to persuade the leaders. He would gather the leaders at a resort where he stayed up all night talking. Six times, Chairman Park spoke with the leaders overnight and he continued on, thinking that repeating something ten times is the same as saying it once.

“Chairman Park, you don’t have to talk all night tonight.”

At the seventh meeting, one of the leaders finally spoke and handed over the plan to visit the US every month for the next year.



“He will just keep going until we are persuaded so we just agreed to do it.”

Chairman Park’s tireless passion and sincerity moved the hearts of the leaders, and they worked hard to expand into the American market. What motivated them was the “teamwork” and “unity.” It would have been impossible to do it alone, but because they worked together, they were able to courageously take on the challenge. 

The success of Atomy in the US led the expansion into Canada, Japan, Taiwan, Singapore and also many other South American and Southeast Asian markets. Without the culture of super-synergy, Atomy would still be experiencing trial and error in the US market. Perhaps it would be merely gazing at the vast overseas market without any tangible success. Through the experiences in the US, business owners have fully realized the power of unity and understood the potential of cooperation and mutual growth. Chairman Park believes the company should create an atmosphere in which business owners can work together instead of competing against each other. 

Atomy is continuing its network of success through the system of super-synergy.
