“A place where people can come to heal, seek refuge, and know more about Atomy” answered Centre Manager James Chung when asked about his hopes for the new Lifestyle Centre @ Common Wealth Drive.

Headed by Sharon-Rose Masters Caroline Tan and James Chung, the Lifestyle Centre @ Common Wealth Drive officially opened on 9th August
2018, sharing the day with Singapore’s National Day and over 80 attendees.

The Lifestyle Centre is situated in the cosy residential area of Commonwealth, just a short three-minute stroll away from Commonwealth MRT
station. The Lifestyle Centre opened with multiple booths demonstrating and showcasing Atomy products, including HemoHIM and various oral
care products. A quiz and lucky draw where winners brought home samples of Atomy products were also enthusiastically received by attendees of the Centre’s opening. During the quiz, questions such as how many posters are put up within the Centre and the mission of the Centre were asked, much to the attendees’ delight as they were encouraged to take a closer look at the Lifestyle Centre to find the answers.

A nutritionist by training, James started thinking about opening a Lifestyle Centre about a year ago after encountering Atomy in 2015. He shared
that he was searching for quality products that could serve multiple facets of life when he came across Atomy. He found that Atomy safeguards
both the physical wellbeing and the emotional wellbeing of its members by establishing closely knitted communities between them. “It is a
standard of lifestyle,” he declared, elaborating on the Centre’s mission:

“We are on a Drive to [H]ealth, [I]ncome, [T]ime Wealth for All Common People”
What this means, he further explained, is that the Centre will not just provide people with information about Atomy products but that it will also seek to be a living embodiment of Atomy’s values: humility, service, love and care. They hope that the Centre will be a place where visitors can
experience what the Atomy spirit is, and would be encouraged to sincerely live it out to the fullest.

Being in the heartlands aligns with Caroline’s hope for Atomy products to reach every household, so that more people can benefit from Atomy’s
quality products. It is their hope that the Centre will be able to welcome people of different age groups. Not just the youths, but individuals of all
age groups, including the elderly. Beyond that, they also wish for visitors to the Centre would feel comfortable in sharing their concerns, dreams,
and challenges, regardless of their starting points. James emphasised the importance of celebrating diversity amongst individuals, to draw out the beauty of each one of us because “we are all unique.”

When asked about what visitors can expect from the Centre, James shared his plans of organising round-table discussions that are more
interactive than the usual panel discussions or talks. His aim is to open conversations such that people can interact more with the space and with
each other, rather than a top-down approach of sharing information. He also plans to organise more demonstrations of products and
interview-style events with speakers where questions are freely asked and discussed in the open. Another event that they are looking to organise
in the Lifestyle Centre is an informal lunch where attendees are free to mingle in their own time and comfort. The Centre will predominantly cater
to the English-speaking population, as James shared that most Atomy Lifestyle Centres are Chinese-speaking.

While serving the functions of a typical Lifestyle Centre, James muses with a warm smile that his favourite part of the Lifestyle Centre @ Common
Wealth Drive is the fact that it will be a place where “individual needs are considered, [like a] diverse family centre.” Similarly, Caroline expressed
the sentiment that she looks forward to having gentle music and cosy decorations in the Centre so that it can truly become “a home, for all of us”.
