The work visually is excellent with the barrel/nut/receiver connection looking very nice. The barrel is a 4 groove Shilen Ratchet. Not a direct comparison as my BMR is a .22lr and my Tikka is a .17hmr, I like the BMR as is with only a trigger improvement but the Tikka factory stock had to go. Both are sub MOA rifles with the .17hmr shooting slightly smaller groups which one would expect.
